This week’s grant listings number: $4.1 billion.
I’m winding down my time on the West Coast, so apologies for this late edition on the day the Cybertruck died.
We’re through the midterms, and as of this morning, it seems like we might have a slightly less explosive lame duck on the money front. Hopefully that means we can wiggle loose some bigger-ticket traditional workforce dollars in the coming weeks as the funding picture becomes clearer heading into the next Congress.
Quiet isn’t dead, however. We actually saw a major increase in funding opportunities this week, which saw publication of a pretty sturdy HUD grant for workforce and education, and for Gulf Coast states, we have a massive new rolling grant opportunity. We also have a decent sized new Air Force grant.
Next week will see a lot of volume come off the board when we hit the deadline on Every Museum Workforce Grantmaking Ever. But the dollars are significantly up, as you can tell.
